The Certificate in Higher Education in Theology, Ministry and Mission is a 2-year programme, for those training in Licensed Lay Ministry, in partnership with Chelmsford Diocese who provide training and resources; encouraging and enabling the ministry of all God's people.

Modules on this programme lay the building blocks of Christian theology by introducing subjects such as Foundations for Theology and Reflective Practice, Introduction to the Old Testament, Introduction to the New Testament, and Introduction to Christian Doctrine and History. It also includes modules to help students in their local ministry responsibilities such as Foundations in Christian Worship, and Evangelism in Practice.

Assessments

Written assignments comprise the majority of assessments for the Theology, Ministry and Mission programme, and most of these are essays, but they also include other written assessments like reflective journals and book reviews.
