The Rev’d Canon Adéọlá Eleyae is Senior Legal Counsel in the Church of England Legal Office. She is also Non-Residentiary Canon with responsibility for Racial Justice at St Paul’s Cathedral. Prior to this, Adé was Director of St Mellitus College, Chelmsford from 2021-2023. She has also served as the Bishop’s Equality Adviser alongside an incumbency in the Diocese of Chelmsford.

Adé has worked as a Solicitor for over 25 years in private practice and in Government, and has a wide range of experience in the area of civil liberties. She is an alumna of the college having trained for ordination at St Mellitus College.
