Vineyard 61 Church Compassion Pastor (Part-time)

The Compassion Pastor will lead the church’s efforts to support those in need, aligned with the vision and values of V61. This role involves overseeing compassion projects across multiple sites, equipping and leading volunteers, and building partnerships with local organisations. The Compassion Pastor will also drive new initiatives, ensuring professionalism and safeguarding, while reflecting God’s heart for justice a transformation.

Based at: West Side Church, Melody Road. There needs to be a willingness to travel between sites for this role

Hours: 17.5hrs per week (2.5 days). The core days will be Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, with flexibility for hours on these days by mutual agreement.

For candidates interested in taking on two part-time roles, there is the opportunity to work full-time 35 hrs per week (Monday to Friday or Sunday to Thursday, depending on the specific roles.

Reports to: Lead Pastor

Probation Period: 3 months
