The post-holder would have a specialism in a field of Global Theology, seeking to enable students to explore the plurality and vibrancy of the global church.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
This is a full- or part-time position (0.7 FTE – 1 FTE, to be discussed at interview), fixed-term until August 2027. The role is funded through the generosity of the Racial Justice Unit and subject to meeting the terms of the funding agreement.
The start date is 1st July 2025.
Teaching & Learning
· Teaching on undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in a field of Global Theology at SMC’s various venues including daytime, evening, teaching weeks and residential sessions.
Formation
· Acting as Formation Group Tutor to designated students, including: proactive engagement in the students’ formational development being the first point of contact for academic, formational and pastoral support, leading formation group sessions, and conducting regular 1-1 tutorials
*The second interview with teaching is in person on Tuesday 11th March.
