KEY TASKS
Teaching & Learning
- Teaching on undergraduate and postgraduate programmes at SMC’s various venues including daytime, evening, teaching weeks and residential sessions (allocation based on subject specialism and fte).
- Assessing student work through first marking and moderation (allocation based on fte)
Formation
- Acting as Formation Group Tutor to designated students, including: proactive engagement in the students’ formational development and preparation for ministry, being the first point of contact for academic, formational and pastoral support, leading formation group sessions, and conducting regular 1- 1 tutorials.
- If a tutor for ordinands, act as point of contact with placement context, including conducting annual placement visits, and writing annual Bishop’s Report.
Please note: The applications will close at 5pm on 2nd December 2025. The selection process will include two interview stages. The first-stage interview will be held online on 5 December, and shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an in-person second-stage interview on 10 December.
Salary
£41,000-£46,000 pro-rata depending on experience and includes London Weighting
